MFI Peruvian Chasta
DOB:  03/13/00
Sire:  5Peruvian Valeroso
Dam:  PPPeruvian Caprice
ARI:  817862
Color:  Beige
Service Sire:  Ultra’s Peruvian Mucho Augusto – June 2007

Here is a producer that can become a foundation female for any farm in the country.  Chasta has produced a top selling male for the Magical Farms auction and is poised to have another big hit with her service sire breeding to Ultra’s Peruvian Mucho Augusto, one of the most acclaimed Peruvian Augusto sons of all.  Chasta is a Valeroso daughter, and as such, hard to come by.  Valeroso was closed to outside breedings several years ago by his new owners.  Chatsa’s fleece is finely crimped and just plain fine.  How about a proven producer that is going on 7 years old and has a 20.6 micron?  That is exactly what you have with Chasta.  She also has the density, conformation, and coverage to produce the total package in her cria.  Chasta is owned by Stoney Acres Alpacas whose breeding program we manage.

Peruvian Mercedes
DOB:  12/01/95
Sire:  Peruvian Caligula
Dam:  Peruvian Nusta
ARI#:  153355
Color:  Fawn
Service Sire:  Peruvian Vengador – June 2007

Mercedes is a product of two imports of the same year, the likes of which may never be seen again.  Mercedes’ sire, Caligula, was quite possibly the consummate herdsire imported into the United Sates.  He was the producer of untold prize-winning alpacas.  Mercedes has carried on that tradition by producing numerous ribbon winners.  She is a great mom that has never given a moments trouble and has produced several lines reflective of her strong physical and genetic attributes.  Mercedes current breeding to Peruvian Vengador is the same cross that produced so many incredible offspring for the original importers and became the foundation for numerous farms.  We look for a real winner this year from Mercedes.  Mercedes is owned by Stoney Acres Alpacas whose breeding program we manage.

MFI Euricka
DOB:  09/15/02
Sire:  Peruvian Silvino 122 IMPF98
Dam:  Elena – Chapoco
Color Light Brown
Service Sire:  Stoney’s Sir Devin – November 2007

Euricka is a rich light brown color with rose gray on her sire’s side and bred to a rose gray multiple champion male.  She has produce brown for us even when bred to white, so we are looking forward to the possibility of that gray popping back out this time.  She is a sweetheart of a mom and produces mega milk with her trouble free births.  She is conformationally correct and has a very high frequency crimp fleece.  Her service sire is a tremendous male that has been practically unrivaled during his show career.  Sir Devin is simply awesome and his two championships and 7 first place ribbons prove it.

Deebeedeep Godiva
DOB:  07/25/02
Sire:  MFI Peruvian Donovan
Dam:  Peruvian Mercedes
ARI#:  842025\
Color:  Medium Brown/White
Service Sire:  KCF Royal Ransom – December 2007

Yes, her name is really Deebeedeep.  It goes back to the sound that she made as a cria.  A goofy name with a serious background though.  The Caligula and Augusto cross have yielded some big winners and Godiva is no exception.  She was a blue ribbon winner in her day, and produced nothing but gorgeous female cria every since.  Her breeding is to our wonderful herdsire Ransom that is a multiple ribbon winner as well.  His first cria were on the ground in 2006, and are very impressive.  He is a fantastic male with loads of fine fleece and such genetics as Mr. President and Royal Fawn.  His black skin and pallet lend the potential for an awesome cria of color with Godiva.

Silvio’s Gracie
DOB:  08/13/03
Sire:  Peruvian Silvio
DAM:  Camana Nimbus
ARI#:  1001037
Color:  Medium Silver Gray
Service Sire:  KCF Cobrizo Milagro – September 2007

Gracie is a beautiful and very rare solid silver gray female that comes from very strong silver gray lines and was a 2nd place ribbon winner at the 2004 PAOBA.  Her sire has a 90% record of gray or black over the last decade.  Her dam has never thrown anything but gray, and her last cria were multiple ribbon and championship winners.   This girl is set to become a fine producer herself.  Did I say fine?  Well how about a 19.9 micron from this year’s fleece.  This is a big opportunity for a farm looking to build a gray program.  These grays are rare, and grays with these lines and ribbon winners in their background are even rarer.  Then, let’s top this off with a breeding to our multiple ribbon winner Cobrizo.  Judging from his first cria hitting the ground, Cobrizo will undoubtedly bring Gracie’s cria to a new level.  Gracie is owned by Stoney Acres Alpacas whose breeding program we manage.
