Huacaya Alpacas for Sale

Our new acquisition at the Parade of Champions Auction on June 4, 2016. We have big plans for this girl and appreciate Stillmeadow Farms for making her available at the auction. Majesty has given us two of the best cria we could possibly expect, both from our Isidoro, both a beautiful shade of brown, and both with remarkable fleeces. KCF Magnetar was sold to Man in the Moon Alpacas. Thank you Mark and Brenda!! Majesty delivered her 2020 cria out of KCF Mad Max over the summer and he is a handsome lad!! KCF Moonshine is aptly named after his fleece appearance, that being absolutely glowing with brightness. Another Color Champion, his boy is going places! Well, going to Maryland and Outstanding Dreams Alpacas - Thank you Phil and Vickie! Next up for Majesty is a 2021 cria sired by none other than Beethoven's Dorian. KCF Macabuca looks to be another future champion and junior herd sire. Placing 2nd in both his shows behind CCNF is just fine with us for his first outings. His show career continues with additional top placements.... this boy is for sale and ready to go to work for you! Back to Isidoro for the 2022 offspring, and yet another boy, yet another VERY nice boy! There is no reason to think that KCF Marquis will not be another in the long line of homeruns for this girl. We gave Majesty a year off in 23', but for her 2024 cria she is bred to KCF Phenom Noir for what we are certain will be no slouch....

Another fine (literally) example of what our boy, Jeremiah's Indescribable can do. A true black female from a beige dam.... Indy is really putting out the color no matter what. KCF Premonition is a big boned girl with a stunning true black fleece that is both dense and has spectacular handle. She is going to stay on the farm and produce a few cria for us before getting any where near the sales list though, sorry; for now.

We are pleased to announce that we have acquired Morning Sky's Spectacular by Design from Morning Sky Farm and Lynn and Bob McClurg. This young lady won championships at her first 3 shows as a juvenile and has not let up since. We thank our good friends Lynn and Bob for making her available to us; she is truly "Spectacular". Spec has now proven herself a top flight production female at KCF with the addition of her latest cria, KCF Sky Blue Pink. This young girl was sired by the incredible Tres Equis, and does not disappoint. Tres has really stamped his fleece on all of our females bred to date; dense, fine, and structured. Sky is just another in the likes of Reverie, Tres Ami, Triple Threat, KCF Empress, and many other fabulous Tres Equis offspring. We plan on showing Sky at some 2021 events and then making her available during our spring Showstring Sale; keep an eye out for this one!!

We are loving the 2019 creation from LMFI Bold Weapon and STF Skywalker, meet KCF Coco Baretta!! This brown beauty already has the phenotype, fleece, and presence to make her a mainstay here at KCF. Her dam has been our top color producing female at KCF and always with the quality to add to our showstring. Heck, even when she did throw light, it was a multiple blue ribbon winning boy! However, KCF Coco Baretta, more closely resembles her maternal sister, KCF Bombshell, and that ain't a problem for us.... Bombshell was a big part of our fantastic 2017 showstring, and now resides with Sawdust Alpacas in Nevada. We have already made the breeding decision for Coco, and feel it is "like a hot cup of Coco on a snowy late spring morning kinda comfortable" decision indeed. Within days of their shearing in May, Coco and CCNF Dominion will being having a conversation.... Update: Coco dropped a VERY handsome male cria out of Dominion, and he shall be KCF Dominion's Cutlass! Update Nov 22: As Cutlass has now been weaned, he is on his own price-wise as well. This is a show string boy for SURE.... We're already sayin 'Junior Herd Sire. 2023 Update: KCF Dominion's Cutlass wins Reserve Champion Walking Fleece and 1st Place at halter in the Heart of Virginia show!! Cutlass became a champion show boy for us at KCF! He is big and bad and beautiful. Check out his page here on the site and know the he is for sale as a junior herd sire of incredible quality. 2023 update: CoCo's 2023 cria is a follow up full sister of KCF Cutlass out of CCNF Dominion. Wow, another remarkable specimen from this pair. More coming soon on KCF Cosmopolitan, but know that she is another homerun.... SOLD!! KCF Cosmopolitan hit the rings running and is piling up the accolades.... Of course she happened to come along during the time of Queen Elizabeth, but just knocked her back 1 place for a while. Now it's on to Championships. Thank you Angel Fleece Alpacas for your astute purchase of Cosmo!! CoCo now has a phenomenal brown female at side out of CCNF Dominion, KCF CoCo Chanel. I don't think that we will ever bred CoCo to any other male, the results are just that good; every one is just incredible.... She is of course bred back to Dom and ready to make you another Champion. A female 3 - N - 1 package that will kick start any program!!

KCF Leviathan's Lovesong is a beautiful and strongly built girl that we can not wait to get into our breeding program. These genetics are just absolutely the top of the line and we can't wait for the next leg up.... She is just back from her first shows at the Extravaganza and had two very respectable placing and wonderfully encouraging judge's comments. Any time you are standing just to the left of Cas Cad Nac, you can't be in too bad of shape. More coming on her details and what we have in mind for her next....

SOLD - A BIG THANK YOU TO JIM AND ANN OF NITE STAR ALPACAS!! Well, we did expect something kinda special given the parents.... But in black, well that was not expected. Needless to say, we are not sending her back and asking for LESS special! We are so pleased with the beginning of Haute's show career! The juvi certainly did her part with a double blue performance at the MA and PA Pronk in Westminster, MD lately. Tack on a Reserve Championship banner to the weekend and you have a rock solid showing by the young rock star. I think we need to keep this one around and have her use that Stratton breeding that we have in the bank....

One of Kendall Creek's latest additions. We are always on the lookout for that 'just right' female for our breeding program. And this is one of those....

In the never ending pursuit for diversity and improvements, Royalove is our most recent acquisition at Kendall Creek Farms. She is a Top 5% EPD girl that has really got the goods. And guess what, all 6 of her offspring are in either the top 5 or 10% as well, go figure. We are going to see what this girl can do when bred to the top brown male that we know of....

KCF Island Jewel is just a beautiful and feminine young girl that is so proportional and pleasing to the eye. Her fleece matches that description and is going to wow you for sure. Both her dam and sire are fabulous and this pairing was repeated without hesitation. We can't wait for the repeat!! Congrats to Angel Fleece Alpacas for their recognition of Lasting Impression (Dam of Jewel). The next Homerun from this pair is yours!! Jewel's first trip to the showstring didn't go as expected, but that's our bad.... She didn't show well as she just didn't get enough halter time and walking throughout the ring was a challenge to say the least. We will have her ready for the spring of 2024, and feel the results may change in her favor. 2024....Darn the AMAF Queen Elizabeth.... Island Jewel is a Bride's Maid every time to that phenomena.... Sometimes you just come along at the wrong time, but that doesn't mean that you are not worthy. This girl is the real deal too!! On to her breeding career, and she has thrown a good one right off the bat. Her name is KCF Island Thyme (as she took her sweet time arriving , almost a month late!). A medium brown beauty with black tips (out of our KCF Phenom Noir) thank you very much. Breeding repeated - check!

One of the few and last offspring of the late great Majestic Peruvian Koolossal.....

Lagertha was named after the wife of Ragnar Lothbrook and is our fav Viking Shield Maiden, we think this girl has the spirit! KCF Phenom Noir was able to reach deep and pull out some serious color from this girl's fawn dam, but then that's his M.O. And she's not just brown.... she happens to be anointed with both a black and a gray spot - Ooh La La!! Going to gray? Black? And wait, R. Champ in brown with a black and a gray spot, damn, she must have a nice fleece.... And she came out of second in a class of 11 to do it. But let's talk facts. She was our finest dark alpaca of 2024 and has the longest staple length as well. Her lock structure is well formed and dense with a very high frequency crimp and no protruding primaries. Lagertha is broad chested and stovepipe straight in both the front and rear. There is nothing not to like about this one. So she she needs to come with a breeding though right? How about KCF Denali, our stealth gray maker; or maybe.... nah, Denali it is!!

TOP 10% IN 2022 EPD'S!!!! Ok, I see a couple of folks are looking hard at Indy.... 1/2 INTEREST NOW AVAILABLE - SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE. Kendall Creek Farms has a new acquisition for 2014, and we are very excited about the possibilities. This boy is absolutely Indescribable! His 4 Championships do not do him justice. His lingering fineness is just incredible and we feel that in his color, it is up there with the best. LMFI Jeremiah's Indescribable (Indy) is a boy that we were following for a few years while he was owned by Magical Farms. When we got the word about their retirement, the first male that we spoke to them about was Indescribable. He has the typey frame with spot on conformation. He has the fine fleece with fantastic handle and zipper crimp that we are looking for in our breeding program. And the fact that his parents have a combined 21 Championships in their resume' give us the confidence that greatness lay within. 2019 - Indy now has 24 registered offspring between 12 different farms and that is enough to generate a little statistics for you. Of the 24 cria, 23 are show age and 20 have been shown at halter. 100% of them have placed in their class; and 69% of those have placed in the top 3; and 56 of the 99 awards were for first or second place. Six have won Color Champion or Reserve Champion banners, with a total of 10 banners between them. And, the 6 champion alpaca were one black, two brown, two fawn, and one white. So, a 100% ribbon rate and a 30% Champion rate. We feel this measures up rather well, and most importantly is an indication of the consistency and uniformity of the production from this male, regardless of color. this is exactly what we are looking for in our breeding program and we are proud to have him as part of the KCF Herdsire Row!!

STF Skywalker comes to us in partnership by way of our dear friends at Sugartown Farms in Ellicottville, NY. Thank you Timm and Helen for letting us in on the wonderful male. This boy is producing exactly what we had hoped for, and in a wonderful variety of colors, including gray!! STF SKYWALKER is a phenomenal male from a 10X COLOR CHAMPION Snowmass XXXtreme Daughter - STF Sassafras. SKYWALKER'S DAM - STF Sassafras represents all that is Elite in the Color Alpaca World. Her Sire - Snowmass XXXtreme is one of the most PREPOTENT colored studs to grace the Alpaca breeding world. XXXtreme's progeny are nothing short of spectacular. Sassafras has won 10 CHAMPIONSHIP Banners. Sassafras won the COLOR CHAMPIONSHIP at the Northeastern 2011. Judge Jude Anderson said: "I have a Juvenile female here in this championship position I would recommend you take a look at. Her fleece is very bright when you open it up, with excellent density and, uniformity in to the belly - not just of the style, but of the fineness across the blanket. She is a lovely package – excellent density.” Sassafras then won the Reserve CHAMPIONSHIP at PAOBA. Judge Ken Hibbits said: "She is really, really impressive - a fleece that opens up and pops when you break it open. She has great uniformity and great character, she is very correct. One thing you notice when you open it up it tends to break beautifully within all those staples, showing that fineness, showing that architecture, and that’s what we want. She’s not bad to look at either is she? She is a beautiful girl, perfectly conformed." Sassafras won Reserve CHAMPIONSHIP at Empire. Judge Jill MacLeod said: “What I really like about this girl is that she is very fine, very even, she has great uniformity in all respects – and that did her very well today. Even her primary fibers are very very fine throughout that fleece and I think this is the kind of fleece that will maintain fineness throughout a lifetime.” In awarding her the Championship at MAPACA, Judge Helen Humphries cited Sassafrass as the complete package, noting of her fineness, consistency and buttery soft - dreamy fleece. SKYWALKER'S SIRE - MFI Peruvian Armoire is a Magical Farms progeny: "We have held on to MFI Peruvian Armoire as a future replacement for his incredible sire - Peruvian Jeronimo who produced so many outstanding colorful champions for Magical Farms over the years. Armoire sports an elite fleece...a georgeous fawn fleece that is dense, soft with high frequency, high amplitude crimp and extremely consistent from head to toe.He has a true to alpaca phenotype, flawless conformation and an excellent presence. Congrats to our wonderful friends and partners, Russell's Alpaca Acres on their acquisition of 1/2 interest in KCF Denali!! We are thrilled to have them join us in partnership on the handsome male! Can't wait to see his cria hitting the ground!!!! How can we not be pretty excited about a boy that comes from such royalty.... The dam is KCF Isla Saona, an 11 time champion From Captain Jack Sparrow and WAG Isis by Nexxus.. The sire, Jeremiah's Quatrain, sire of multiple champions for the last decade I believe. So this progeny not only has a lot to offer in his own right based on his fleece and impeccable conformation; but the genetics are just off the charts. Denali was only shown a few times as he was coming up due to his unique color classification. He has shown in both medium fawn and medium rose gray, and the judge's just can't make up their mind's. All they can agree on is the his fleece is stunning and deserving of high consideration if they could just figure it out.... In Fawn, he got dinged for white fibers and in gray, he got dinging for a fawn base. Oh, but now.... he has developed into a sure enough MRG male that will be a handful for the competition in the fall of 2020. And like clockwork, at his first show of 2020 BOOM! - Reserve Champion in the Buckeye Alpaca Show!! UPDATE July 2022!! Denali now has cria on the ground!! Here we go!!

From the CCNF website: Though still coming of age, CCNF Dominion represents the latest exciting riff on the Elixir/Matrix Majesty crosses that have meant so much to our breeding program in recent years. Experienced alpaca breeders worldwide know the look of a potential ringer when they see one and such was the case with this young male. We had envisioned already soon after his birth that Dominion (why else would we saddle the little dude with a name like that?) would one day rise and join his older cousins CCNF Dreadnought and CCNF Sovereign Legacy, helping to carry forth his pedigree’s powerful legacy. Already a maternal great-grandson of CCNF Magdalena and therefore possessed of arguably the most potent blood in our breeding program’s 23 year history, Dominion also has Snowmass Royal Challanger, his sire Snowmass Royal Rose (a founding member of the North American Alpaca Stud), and by extension the legendary Peruvian Hemingway coursing through his veins. None of which is meant to denigrate nor minimize the importance elsewhere in his pedigree of imported alpaca Goddesses 4Peruvian Isabella and 5Peruvian Cangalli, both of whom would remain top-flight foundation females were they still with us. The bottom line though is that Dominion’s pedigree reads a bit like a murderer’s row of alpaca genetics! When those genetics then all amalgamated into the ripping young male we now see rapidly developing before us, we were understandably excited. With a genetic profile most similar to his older cousin, CCNF Sovereign Legacy (the great-grandson of Golden Sovereign, Magdalena’s full brother), it stands to reason that the two of them will ultimately compete for the same pool of females within our program. Though as we’ve said before elsewhere, having too many great Herdsires is like a baseball team having too much pitching depth, there is really no such thing. We are also thrilled to announce that as of December, 2019 that we now co own CCNF Dominion with Chris and Lori Works of Kendall Creek Farms Alpacas! We know from repeated first hand experience, what a positive impact a Herdsire of Dominion’s profile can have when plugged into an already established breeding program such as Kendall Creek’s and we look forward to seeing those results in the years to come! Once working, Dominion will generally be spending the majority of the spring and fall at Kendall Creek, with the summer months spent here at his birth farm. Well, after a few misses, we were able to get arguably our top black female bred to Snowmass Midnight Diamonte', and boy was it worth the wait!! The result is our KCF Phenom Noir, a true black macho male that we feel has a tremendous head start toward a fabulous career at KCF. Not since Diamonte' himself have we seen the combination of fleece structure and handle on a true black fleece. It simply feels like a plush berber carpet of alpaca. And at his first trip away from the ranch in Ohio, the judges apparently agreed, Phenom won both his yearling male classes as the youngest in both, and with a large number of entries in each. Then it was on to Virginia for their dual show and the results were similar - but even better; a first and second with both being followed by Reserve Championships!! Now we're talking! Bummer Update: Phenom has come up with a tender break in his fleece for the spring show season. Even with this minor setback, he was able to stay in the top half of all his classes so far. We are pulling him for the remainder of the 21' Spring season, but you can bet your ass he will make a triumphant return!! 2022 Update: Heeeee's back. So far, three banners in four shows in the spring of 2022. Phenom is off to a great start and, we are happy to say that he has a new co-owner. Thank you to Phil and Vickie of Outstanding Dreams Alpacas in Maryland for your acquisition of 1/2 interest in this macho black! This boy is going to do great things for both farms!! Introductory breeding now available and on a limited basis!!

SIRE OF THE 2026 AOA NATIONAL FLEECE COMPETITION GRAY FEMALE COLOR CHAMPION!! CONGRATS TO TIMM AND HELEN HERMAN OF SUGARTOWN FARMS ALPACAS IN ELLICOTTVILLE, NY!! Well, KCF Electra has done some pretty good work for us in the past, but we must say that this may be the most impressive of them all. It’s been quite a while since we have been this excited about a young male this age. I think we’ve been thunderstruck, KCF Thunderstruck that is! We really shouldn’t have been too shocked by this outcome. Thunderstruck‘s parents are two absolute rock stars. Starting with his stud dam, KCF Electra, and topped off by TVA Tres Equis. With a dozen, 10+ champs offspring between them, these are All-star stud parents! And the gray runs deep in this boy. If we are really lucky, he will become our Tres replacement when that time comes. Thunderstruck density is off the charts, his finest is incredible for his color, and his fleece structure is that of 1 million matchsticks. Putting this fleece on his tremendous frame is more than we could’ve ever asked for. Although just a youngster, he was a brute weighing 84 # at just 7 months. He is a chunk!! We were so looking forward to getting him out there in 2021 and so pleased with the results once we did. He has just about dominated the juvi division in each show, placing first in 4 of the 5 events. This bodes very well for his yearling campaign in the fall and we are equally excited for that season to arrive! Already convinced that this young fella is the real deal, we have begun offering a limited number of breedings at an introductory price.

!!!! 2024 Update: All Rise does it again - At the age of 31 months KCF All Rise wins the Walking Fleece Color Champion at the 2024 Spring Buckeye! REALLY, 31 Months!! Tacks on the Reserve Color Championship at Halter as well!! And he is out of a fawn and a brown..... doesn't take a coat color test to figure out what this boy is going to be capable of.... This boy is the real deal and is going to get some serious work come June.... !!!! 2023 Update: KCF All Rise wins Color Champion and Judge's Choice Male at the 2023 Heart of Virginia show in Lexington, VA!!!! Last summer while I was occupied with the fulfillment of my civic duty for 8 days, I had the great pleasure to stand up about 100 times to the Bailiff's request that we "All Rise" for the presiding judge. During this same timeframe, one of our stud females, KCF Isla Saona, happened to have her repeat Snowmass Best in Velvet cria, and thus the name was chosen.... KCF All Rise is indeed going to command some attention down the road and will likely be highly respected in his field. Although his older full brother (KCF Crushed Velvet) is dark fawn, and we don't really breed for light, it's hard to be disappointed with a boy having the phenotype, genetics, and fleece qualities of KCF All Rise. His accolades on the show circuit over the past year indicate that judges agree, All Rise has the goods. Special fleece awards, advanced fleece recognition, and multiple color championship all are evidence in this case. And did we mention the Judge's Choice male in Virginia....? We have to say, All Rise's fleece is just spectacular. FINE, UNIFORM THROUGHOUT, AND INCREDIBLY DENSE. And given the high probability that he will cover color, we feel KCF All Rise will come in very handy in just about any breeding program - including yours. All Rise's frame is filling out nicely and he makes the perfect box in profile. Broad chested and fence post front legs, check. Teeth and jaw set, check. Perfect ear set and shape, check. Coverage to the toes and tips, check. A pair to get the job done, check. We just don't have enough unrelated girls to keep a boy like this appropriately busy so we are willing to sell this incredible male. Color typing is underway, but with his background, we feel certain this multiple champion boy will cover a broad range of colors for us, and you.... All Rise is for sale (with retained breedings); and now has confirmed pregnant females at farms including KCF. Give us a call and let's discuss.

Here we have another fine example of CCNF Dominion's work. Don't get us wrong, the dam here is top shelf, CoCo has a wonderful fleece and a large correct frame. But her head is old school average, and if we could change something, it would that. Well, 'problem' solved; CCNF Dominion - The Fixer!! Take a look at that top hat on Cutlass.... And she is bred back to Dominion for another stunner in 2025! Cutlass is covered here at KCF so he is for sale. We have 5 Dom boys from last year and all are worthy of being herdsires at any farm. Please ask for any and all information you need on these boys, we are going to be very reasonable on terms and pricing.

KCF Rum Point is the product of what we feel are the two best brown fleece we have every seen at Kendall Creek Farms. His dam, KCF Isla Saona, was a multiple champion female that graced us with a home run her entire breeding career. Unfortunately we lost her in 2024 to pneumonia, with Rum Point being her last male offspring. Isla was just a pre-potent stud female that imparted her fleece on each cria - period! Rum Point sire is of course no slouch and made a large contribution to this equation as well : CCNF Dominion. As a 4 time Judges Choice winner, we can unequivocally say that Dom's fleece was at least equal to that of Isla's and so we won't quibble about one being better than the other.... Let's just say that Rum Point was destine to have a good one.

THIS MULTI CHAMP, AND THREE OF HIS BROTHERS, ARE FOR SALE AT A HIGHLY REDUCED RATE AS WE HAVE THEM COVERED AND ARE MAKING ROOM!!!! Just because you pair a couple mega-banner winners with Judge's Choice awards and such on both sides of the equation, doesn't guarantee that you results are some how destined for greatness. But you can be hopeful.... In this case, KCF Mudslide has thus far proven to be a pretty good mix of two of the best in their time; CCNF Dominion and WGA Isis by Nexxus. We are very pleased that our impressions have been validated by his show results in his six appearances, with tough East coast competition, under six different judges. With 2 RC's and 3 CC banners by the age of 14 months, KCF Mudslide is off to an impressive start. The reality is that we just can't think of anything that we would elect to change about Mudslide. His conformation is of course a given. And that conformation is on a frame with great mass and stature. In fact, although at 14 months or less, Mudslide was always among the youngest in his classes, let's just say he was never among the smallest, he is a big boy.. We appreciate this feature in our stud males as long as they are proportional like Mudslide, more to love aye.... On the fleece side, well, it's all that jazz. With a 16.6 AFD and 3.6 SD, 21.6 CV, and 100% CF what's not to like? We particularly love the fineness relative to density, with the density being off the charts so to speak. The degree of density is created by the matchstick staples within thick locks, a great example of the tertiary bundling Mr. Safley use to mention from time to time. And in the words of another Ol' Timer, "That doesn't suck....". So, having said all that, we hope that you will consider KCF Mudslide for a few of your top tier girls this year. He's got the goods, and the right attitude, and we think he's going to get the job done earlier than most. We'll let you know cause' we sure plan on giving him a go! As we have both sides of lines covered very well on our ranch, we have Mudslide for sale. We are certain that he we be a handy acquisition for darn near any alpaca breeder by adding his positive characteristics to his offspring.
